The E.T. Ruante American Legion #476 and The Gariepy Family have been chosen as this weeks Volunteers of the Week. The American Legion has adopted the traffic island at Columbia Street and Baker Avenue and has maintained the area and planted flowers. The Gariepy Family has adopted the traffic island at Manor and Baker Avenues. Their efforts include maintaining the green space, trimming the shrubs and planting flowers.
Each week the City will highlight volunteers who have adopted parks throughout the City as part of the City’s Beautification Program. We appreciate the efforts of the American Legion and The Gariepy Family and their commitment to the community as well as the efforts of all our volunteers who continue to give back.
