Waters View Apartments Celebrates Official Opening Release Date: December 14, 2011 The City of Cohoes along with Prime Properties recently hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the official opening of Waters View Apartments. The newly constructed premier apartments are adjacent to Peebles Island State Park and a newly extended bike path along Delaware Avenue. Waters View Apartments include 220 units with a list of amenities and direct access to the Mohawk River. Rents for the one, two and three-bedroom units range from $1,200 to $2,000. Each apartment has hardwood floors, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a dishwasher, an attached one-car garage and a washer and dryer.   “It is a pleasure to welcome yet another development to our City which will continue our mission of increasing our population and demographics. For the first time since 1930 the City of Cohoes has reversed the decades long decline in population and it is developments such as this that not only makes proper use of a beautiful area, but at the same time increases the number of members in our community that are leading us forward into the decades to follow,” said Mayor John T.
