Council President Primeau, and Council Members Kennedy, Turcotte, Nolin, Ceccucci, and Signoracci introduced Local Law No. 5-I for the year 2009 entitled:

 

A LOCAL LAW AMENDING THE CHARTER WITH RESPECT TO THE SHORT TERM LEASE OF CITY PROPERTY

A Public Hearing will be conducted at the next Common Council Meeting.

Council President Primeau, and Council Members Kennedy, Turcotte, Nolin, Ceccucci, and Signoracci introduced Local Law No. 6-I for the year 2009 entitled:

 

A LOCAL LAW TO AMEND ARTICLE II OF CHAPTER 266 OF THE CITY CODE WITH RESPECT TO THE DOG/ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER ISSUING TRAFFIC TICKETS

A Public Hearing will be conducted at the next Common Council Meeting.

Council President Primeau, and Council Members Kennedy, Turcotte, Nolin, Ceccucci, and Signoracci introduced Resolution No. 53 for the year 2009

A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE APPLICATION OF VINEYARD CHURCH TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION FUND FOR A GRANT

Mayor McDonald stated that this is for Vineyard Churches’ application for assistance for the purchase and restoration of the Methodist Church at 121 Remsen St.  This is a Resolution for support only; there is no financial obligation on behalf of the City.

A roll call vote was taken, Council President Primeau, and Council Members, Kennedy, Turcotte, Nolin, Ceccucci, and Signoracci voted “AYE”.  Resolution No. 53 for 2009 passed.

Council President Primeau, and Council Members Kennedy, Turcotte, Nolin, Ceccucci, and Signoracci introduced Resolution No. 54 for the year 2009

 

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE GRANTING OF A REVOCABLE LICENSE FOR THE USE OF CITY PROPERTY

This Resolution gives the Good Ground Family Church the use of Canal Square on August 29, 2209.

A roll call vote was taken, Council President Primeau, and Council Members, Kennedy, Turcotte, Nolin, Ceccucci, and Signoracci voted “AYE”.  Resolution No. 54 for 2009 passed.

Council President Primeau, and Council Members Kennedy, Turcotte, Nolin, Ceccucci, and Signoracci introduced Resolution No. 55 for the year 2009

A RESOLUTION MODIFICATION OF THE ROOMS OF CITY HALL AS TO HOW THEY ARE TO BE OCCUPIED

A roll call vote was taken, Council President Primeau, and Council Members, Kennedy, Turcotte, Nolin, Ceccucci, and Signoracci voted “AYE”.  Resolution No. 55 for 2009 passed.

Council President Primeau, and Council Members Kennedy, Turcotte, Nolin, Ceccucci, and Signoracci introduced Resolution No. 56 for the year 2009

A RESOLUTION PURSUANT TO STATE ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY REVIEW ACT (SEQRA) TO ISSUE A NEGATIVE DECLARATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL SIGNIFICANCE

A roll call vote was taken, Council President Primeau, and Council Members, Kennedy, Turcotte, Nolin, Ceccucci, and Signoracci voted “AYE”.  Resolution No. 56 for 2009 passed.

Council President Primeau, and Council Members Kennedy, Turcotte, Nolin, Ceccucci, and Signoracci introduced Ordinance No. 10 for the year 2009

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING NOT TO EXCEED $3,500,000 AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF SERIAL GENERAL OBLIGATIONS BONDS TO FINANCE THE DEMOLITION OF THE EXISTING BRIDGE AVENUE BRIDGE AND CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW BRIDGE IN REPLACEMENT THEREOF, AT AN ESTIMATED MAXIMUM COST NOT TO EXCEED $9,175,493, LEVY OF TAX IN ANNUAL INSTALLMENTS IN PAYMENT THEREOF, THE EXPENDITURE OF SUCH SUM FOR SUCH PURPOSES AND DETERMINING OTHER MATTERS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH

A roll call vote was taken, Council President Primeau, and Council Members, Kennedy, Turcotte, Nolin, Ceccucci, and Signoracci voted “AYE”.  Ordinance No. 10 for 2009 passed.

At 7:20 PM, with no further business to come before the Council, Council Member Signoracci made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Council Member Turcotte.  All members voted “AYE”.
