The Cohoes Public Library is proud to offer an educational program on Alzheimer’s disease. We’ve schedule Healthier Living for your Brain and Body on March 6th at 6pm. The program’s topic is described as follows:
Healthier Living for your Brain and Body – For centuries, we’ve known that the health of the brain and the body are connected. But now, science is able to provide insights into how to optimize our physical and cognitive health as we age. This program offers participants and opportunity to learn about research in the areas of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement, and use hands-on tools to help you incorporate these recommendations into a plan for healthy aging. Registration is necessary, so please call or visit the Library to sign up for these helpful programs.

NARCAN Training at Library

Opiod addiction is a danger to so many today. On March 20, at 6 pm, the Cohoes Public Library will be offering training on how to administer the lifesaving drug NARCAN to victims of opiod overdose.
