The Engineering Department coordinates a variety of activities and services, including the preparation of plans and specifications for public works construction, and is responsible for the design approval and inspection of public facilities for the City. Also responsible for engineering of city projects, checking design work of private developers for public improvements, inspection of these improvements, maintenance of city maps, engineering records and preparation of special reports.
