Council Meetings are generally held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month,
in Common Council Chambers, City Hall, 97 Mohawk Street. 

Common Council meeting To Be Broadcast on Time Warner Cable
The public now has the opportunity to watch the Cohoes Common Council’s monthly meetings from the comfort of home.  The Common Council meetings, which take place on the fourth Tuesday of every month, are broadcast on the Friday of the following week. The broadcasts will be aired on Time Warner Cable Public Access Channel 14 at 7:00 p.m.

Contact Your Common Council Representative: If you wish to contact a Council member by telephone, you may telephone him/her at home. The majority of the Council members have full-time jobs outside of their duties as a Councilor. If an Councilperson is unable to speak with you at the time of your call, please feel free to leave your name and phone number, or you may contact the City Clerk's Office and one of our staff will have the Council member return your telephone call.
